Hans Locher - Douchebag of the Day
“We have all been raised on it. Why should we not include it into our diet?”
At Douchebags.com, we flush the bacteria, parasites and accumulated scum out into the bright, refreshing light of public scrutiny. The term "douchebag" needs no formal explanation - you know one when you see one. The term is experiencing somewhat of a revival these days and we are pleased to do our part in pushing this delightful word back into the American lexicon.
“We have all been raised on it. Why should we not include it into our diet?”
Yet another disgusting “honor killing” has been committed in Pakistan. A 17-year-old Pakistani girl forced to marry a 45-year-old when she was only nine was reportedly killed by her parents, according to the Weekend Australian. The murder has intensified despair among human rights workers in Pakistan over a recent spate of “honor killings,” in which two women and three teenage school girls were buried alive in Baluchistan Province because they wanted to marry the men WHO THEY ACTUALLY LOVED - Gee what a novel idea!!!
Saira Nusrat Bibi was successfully fighting a legal battle to have her marriage annulled. As she left court in the Punjabi city of Sahiwal, she was surrounded by a group of men reportedly sent by her parents, and shot in front of police, The Australian reported.
The Baluchistan case was worsened by an attempt by a member of the country’s national parliament, Senator Israr Ullah Zehri, to defend it, telling colleagues that “these are centuries-old traditions and I will continue to defend them,” The Australian reports.
Um, who knew that more than one man in Kuala Lumpur needs us to tell him that it is NOT SMART to put a nut around his penis to make it grow longer? According to AFP.com, for the second time in less than a month a Malaysian man (this one was set to get married next week) had a to have a nut removed by hospital staff from around his penis. He hoped it would weigh down his little friend and make it longer. The first dope to try this stunt used a steel ring around his penis, forcing the fire department to cut off the ring after doctors were unable to remove it.
Bloomberg Business News Wire published the obituary of Steve Jobs, founder of Apple yesterday. The obit described Jobs as the man who “helped make personal computers as easy to use as telephones, changed the way animated films are made, persuaded consumers to tune into digital music and refashioned the mobile phone.” It included praise for Jobs from his rival Microsoft boss Bill Gates, details of his rise from college drop-out to technology billionaire, and a list of his family “survivors”.
Millionaire husband and wife super-douchebag team, Mahender Sabhnani and Varsha Sabhnani from Long Island, NY finally got their day in court and were rightfully slammed with lengthy prison sentences for enslaving and abusing their two Indonesian housekeepers for years.
Varsha, the wife and primary abuser of household help, was sentenced to 11 years in the clink for such offenses as beating the two domestic workers with umbrellas and brooms, slashing them with knives and making them take freezing showers as punishment. Her husband Mahender who didn’t inflict physical injury on the workers but permitted the abuse to go on was sentenced to 3 years and 4 months in federal prison.
Before he was sentenced, Sabhnani pleaded for mercy on behalf of his four adult children and asked, through his attorney, to be sentenced to home confinement instead of prison.
He said his children say “if you go, who’s going to help us? How can we do it on our own?” His three daughters, who live at home, are in their 20s and his teenaged son is about to go to college in Washington, D.C.
Ummm…Perhaps he and his wife should have thought about that before they decided to enslave and torture their housekeepers.
